Ryan Paul Freel born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 8, 1976. He was a baseball player which he participated for the Major League Baseball (MLB). Ryan played in many positions such as second base, third base, and all three outfield positions.

Ryan Freel started playing in 2001 for the Toronto Blue Jays than he signed for the Cincinnati Reds where he played for 5 seasons. After that he was playing for the Chicago Cubs. His last pro team was the Kansas City Royals.

On May 17, 2010, Ryan Freel announced his retirement in baseball.

On December 22, 2012 he was found dead by a self-inflicted shotgun blast.
